Happy new year to you and yours, its going to be a great year and i can feel it already.I also know its a year of being intentional about everything i want to do and you should be intentional too.
This year is my year of the supernatural….the year i get closer to the Lord,hear him more,obey him more and live for him more.Borrowing words from what DDK said at the last Firebrand Festival,it is my year of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Everything i will do this year is going to be about Jesus and revealing him more to the world.There is so much darkness around and he is the only one that can bring light into every situation.
“And this Living Expression is the Light that bursts through gloom— the Light that darkness could not diminish!” John 1:5 TPT
Without Jesus we are lost and nothing can ever replace him…music,relationships,riches,fame.None of these things can replace Jesus in our lives.He is the good shepherd standing at the door of your heart and knocking, i do hope you open up for him to come in and take over.
This is the year of shutting noise out including social media and sitting at his feet to get the blueprint he wants us to run with.It is the year we forfeit our own goals and make his agenda priority in our lives.This is the year we allow him to change us from inside out as we behold him in the Word.
This is the year we move from being just a child to becoming a son,it is the year of relationship with our father and friend.It is the year of choosing sides, not just sitting on the fence but choosing if you want to be “HOT” or “COLD”.This is the year where we don’t allow social media to be our motivation but rather we download strategy for survival from God’s heavenly network through intense prayers and staying in his presence.
This year we don’t copy or follow trends,we do not go with the popular opinion but rather we choose the Bible opinion.We sincerely ask WWJD in every situation we find ourselves.This year we love more,give more and serve more, not to impress anybody but because our Commander expect us to do so.
This year we study the word of God like never before not just because we want to share the revelation but because we truly want to know his heart.
For some people,all these are on lockdown while for some others it is a new journey, which ever category you belong to it is time to work.If you do not have a journal this is the time to get one.Get a bible that you understand and make spending time with God a priority everyday.
Trust me when you sit down to listen,God will definitely talk to you.He is always talking we just need to be quiet enough to hear him.
This is the year we become FIREBRAND.
