BOUGHT WITH A PRICE

Imagine buying a Dog and the dog refuses to bark or scare strangers and thieves away or imagine buying a cat that refuses to chase and kill rats………it will be quite annoying because it will be a waste of investment.

So imagine how God feels when he sees people that do not understand the heavy price he had to pay to redeem us or Christians that crucify him over and over again when they continue to live in sin.

The truth is that according to;

1 Peter 1:18-19 “Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot”

“Ye are bought with a price; be not ye the servants of men.”1 Corinthians 7:23

“For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.”1 Corinthians 6:20

You were bought with a very heavy price…..the precious blood of Christ and incase you don’t know it was not a very convenient price to pay so imagine how God feels anytime he looks at people that are supposed to be his children making a waste of his investment.

Jesus didn’t have to come and die for us and our sins because he was not even a partaker of it in the first place.I mean he is the Son of God,the spotless Lamb that sits upon the throne but he did because he loves us.

He did not have to leave his heavenly glory to come to this earth to save people he knew were going to kill him eventually but he did because he is our perfect high priest that was tempted in every way yet without sin.

He didn’t have to come and bear the sins of the whole world on the cross of calvary that earned him a time out from God but he did.

He didn’t have to go to hell to fight the devil for the keys to death so we can live forever but he did because he is the lover of our soul that wants us to live forever.

He bought us with a very heavy price because he paid with his life,we were the ones headed for destruction but he came to save us from our self destruction so you will permit me when i say he doesn’t deserve to be treated the way we treat him.

He doesn’t deserve to be ignored like we do when we don’t even acknowledge his death on the cross.

He doesn’t deserve to be disobeyed like we do every time we go against his word.

He doesn’t deserve to be stabbed in the back when we act like we have never encountered him.

He doesn’t deserve to be crucified over and over again when we continue to romance Sin.

He doesn’t deserve to be disrespected when we call his name in vain and use him to score points during arguments.

He doesn’t deserve to be starved like we do when we refused to fellowship,worship and pour our love on him.

He doesn’t deserve to be relegated to the back seat of our lives when we pick everything else above him.

He doesn’t deserve to be manipulated when all we do is come back to him when we need his help.

He doesn’t deserve to be nailed to the cross over and over again by the ones he came to save.

Whether you accept it or not you have been bought with a price,he invested heavily into your future and he deserves a return of investment.You cant allow his death to be for nothing and you must not allow his investment to go to waste over your Life.

God loves you so much that he sent his only begotten son to die for you and all he ask in return is your sincere and genuine Love and devotion.

God did not create hell for you,he created it for the devil and his cohorts and that is why he could send his precious son to redeem us. He wants to restore his original plan;how he really intended it from the beginning with man being the crown of his creation.

He wants to be the centre of your world,your first love,your alpha and omega,your Lord.

He wants absolute control over your life not so he can control you but so he can make it better.

He wants to walk this path with you if you will allow him and he wants to take the lead if you are already walking with him.

He wants to come into your Life and permeate your soul till you become like him because he didn’t just send his son to die for you for nothing.

If you have him in your life already,he wants to become closer till you are one in spirit and soul.

If you don’t have him in your Life, he wants you to Open up your heart and invite him in by accepting his work on calvary and allowing him to be your Lord and Saviour.

Remember you were not bought with gold or silver,YOU WERE BOUGHT WITH A PRICE…….THE PRECIOUS BLOOD OF CHRIST.
